As per the attached circular, we would like to inform you about recent updates and guidelines regarding UAN (Universal Account Number) activation for employees. The circular highlights the following key points:
🔹 Objective
To streamline the process of UAN activation and ensure compliance with EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation) norms.
🔹 Employer Responsibility
Employers must encourage their employees to activate their UAN for smooth and uninterrupted access to provident fund services.
🔹 Steps for Activation
Employees must log in to the EPFO portal.
Provide the required personal details such as UAN, mobile number, and Aadhaar.
Authenticate the information through an OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
🔹 Timeline for Compliance
The activation process must be completed by 30th November 2024.
